Homecoming show
« on: April 20, 2013, 06:50:54 PM »
Who is going to the Oldsmobile Homecoming show this year?  The theme is wagons & delivery vehicles of Oldsmobile.  I plan on driving out there again this year.  I had a blast last year with Meister, Provost, Angelo, & quite a few others that I saw out at the show!

We will not be attending the Homecoming Show this year. We attended back in 2008 and it was a blast. This show needs to be on your list of shows to attend. A must do show for any Oldsmobile owner. We look forward to the day that we can make it back.

Yep, homecoming is like a mini-nationals, good time and the swap meet is usually larger than any of the OCA nationals, was lucky enough to get the shot below of my car back in 2010.

The 2008 Homecoming Show really was like a mini HOCA National Meet since the 1968 H/O was the featured car that year and they set aside a section for all the H/O's to park. Great times!

Nice shot of your Hurst Olds Jeff with Linda Vaughn!  Doc Watson walking in the background is a nice bonus too!

That Homecoming show is like a mini National with out all the trips & excursions to different parts of the city.  It's all about the show & swap meet!  Just like it should be!!   You just get to see some neat stuff that you don't see at the Nationals because of all the requirements & whining! Just saying....  Here's a shot from the Olds Homecoming show a few years ago.

Yep, that's funny, had no idea he was walking through at the time of the picture, didn't notice Doc until I saw the pic and that wasn't until I looked at it 2 or 3 times later.

Looks like a great show Joe, nice photo. That's the bad part about being in Arizona, too far away from all the good shows!

Homecoming is the best show ever.  Beats the OCA national meet by far.  The swap meet is ALWAYS bigger.  There are always MORE Oldsmobiles on display.  No BS over all the judging and trophies.

Homecoming will always be at the top of my car show list every year from here on out.

Seeya there.
