Good to see all the people & H/Os. But the rain showers followed me everywhere and it sucked! But it's all good. Just got home which cars are now cleaned and garaged but of course a big rain happened right as I got home! Time for me to buy a new set of BFGs bc of my tire blow-out. at least my original tires held up good!

Nice meeting many of you and your bad ass cars! Joe, your '73 is beautiful! Ron's '79 is the way I like it, built to run! Though I favor the '73-'77s, there were two perfect '68 & '69 H/Os there that I wish we're mine. Talked to Robert, Trevor, and few others for awhile which I loved how some of you brought and showed neat memorabilia items. I only got a couple pics, too worried about keeping my cars and stuff dry.

Jon;

Nice meeting you and seeing your two beautiful cars, and the added memorabilia you brought, good stuff! Below is a pic of Jon's blow out tire....

I wish I could have crammed about a weeks worth of conversations into that day, as well as burn out my camera taking pictures. I did not even have the chance to do a count of all the cars that showed up. It seems I was scurrying from one thing to another. I can tell you one thing, I will sleep well tonight.

Ya it was too bad I missed that whole deal!  Not a good night that's for sure!!   >:(   I finally got down there and it truly wasn't what I expected.......  But I did meet the guy with the 68 Hurst Olds and rewoke my feelings for those 68's again.  Truly nice people from Louisiana!!   :)

The Disney meet was a fantastic trip. We saw a lot of cars we don't normally see+ it was a great opportunity to visit with Dick Chrysler. It was great spending so many days at the Disney parks with my kids and grandkids. The real bonus was seeing all of the H/O's and our H/O friends. THe meet is always too short to have enough time to spend together.

The H/O's were all outstanding, but of course our Mickey Mouse Hurst/Olds fit in with the Disney theme.
